Today’s Dollop comes live from a freezing wet piss-filled underpass in Northampton. But it’s not as romantic as it sounds. I am lost, alone, soaked and freezing, and in danger of missing my gig.

do you still need help?
Yes, very much so, but not in terms of being lost in Northampton, but just in a more general sense.
What are you doing in Northampton?
Very entertaining David! I’m glad you got there in the end and thawed out. What a nightmare! Where’s your gig in Leeds? I live there now.
Hi Rob, well it turned out that the gig wasn’t in Leeds, but in Manchester. I didn’t realise my mistake of course until I’d got into Leeds station. The story of that confusion was told in today’s Dollop. I am however definitely in Leeds on 18th April.

Oh that was wonderful! Cheers! thankyou for walking through the piss so we don’t have to 😀
Got an interesting insight into the struggle of David there.
Makes my moaning about gig journeys seem pathetic.
But are you freezing?
Not anymore, thanks. Sorry for delay in replying; my fingers have only just unfrozen. Did I mention I was freezing?
Not sure what emoji to put like, cry, anger, laugh?
I remember getting you lost, but it wasn’t this bad! 🤔
Soaked in piss? Not good
Underpass’s just another planning triumph!
I think underpiss would be a great addition to the English language.
But did you enjoy the gig? 🤓
Oh David! That sounded so fraught! I did like the idea of Northampton pilgrimage for you though.
‘I’ll probably get there and find the gig’s been cancelled’ 😂
