This is brilliant! I’m utterly fascinated! When I was a child in the sixties my family would after record stuff on my Nana’s reel to reel. Unfortunately this is not us. I wonder what happened to our tapes!

My brain read your “after” as “often” automatically. I didn’t notice you’d written “after” until you corrected it. It’s amazing how much the brain does on autopilot without the conscious bit even noticing. Anyway, I’m glad you’re enjoying this investigation. We continue tonight!
There must be so many recordings out there like this that are just gathering dust somewhere, completely forgotten. It’s fascinating to think what treasure there might be out there.
